Please note as each case is unique each individual should seek professional advice . Many of these cases require a multi-disciplinary approach and I  have been involved for many years in a number of these . Sadly some treatment is  palliative only eg, xerostomic patients are often rendered edentulous due to the terrible effects of loss of saliva.
